Inspiring photographer Staffan Widstrand

I just wanted to do some advertising for a great photographer in my eyes.

Staffan Widstrand from Sweden, natureephotographer and nowadays known for his initiative with “Wild wonders of Europe”.

The first time I heard of him was by a book I bought in Abisko. The book was about the big 5, the 5 predators in Europe.

Wolverine, wolf, bear, lynx and of course…human beings.

He had taken the pictures to the book while another person had written the texts. Please have a look in my library for details.

After that he published several books about Sweden, Arctic and Europe.

What is so fascinating about him is that he combines nature-photography and documentary photography as well as he gives the impression of being there with him.

A clear source of inspiration of not only documenting what is going on in front of the camera but also taking you to the place.
